NYS Paid Voting Leave is Now 3 Hours: Update Employee Handbooks & Postings in Business and at Work

As part of the 2019 New York state budget process; effective April 1, 2019, paid NYS employee voting leave has increased to 3 hours, with streamlined requirements, below:

This change will require NYS employers to update their handbooks, and post an updated NYS-mandated employee posting with your other NYS- and federal-required employee postings. As a courtesy, please find the updated PDF employee posting here.
