NYS Employers: It’s Time to Post the NYS Election Leave Notification Poster

NYS Election Law requires that NYS employers post the NYS Election Leave Notice Below at least 10 days before Election Day (For 2022, Tuesday, November 8th) in 12-hour employee areas.  Employers must provide up to 2 hours of paid Election Leave to employees who do not have 4 consecutive hours to vote on Election Day:

The recommendation to my employer clients is to keep the NYS Election Leave posting up year-round with the other (numerous) NYS and Federal mandated employee labor postings, taking one annual employer-to-do task off their calendars, in business and at work.
